Coronavirus is a type of virus that causes respiratory infections called Covid-19. It is an infectious disease that easily spreads and transfers from one person to another. This virus is transmitted from animal to human and then the connection of the people developed a disease because humans can pass the virus to each other. The Virus spread through droplets of coughing, sneezing, and close contacts when someone is infected with a virus. In March 2020 the world health organization declared COVID-19 is pandemic and according to WHO, 80% of patients with COVID-19 can recover without hospitalization. People with blood pressure, heart, lungs, diabetes, cancer become seriously ill and difficult in breathing.

The most common symptoms are fever, cough, and tiredness and other severe symptoms include shortness of breath, chest pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste, and smell. The vaccine of the Covid-19 is not available and there is no specific treatment for the disease. Preventive measure is the best solution to keep yourself protected from Covid-19. It’s very important to take safety measures when you are doing your daily routine work. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20-seconds before eating and after sneezing, coughing when soap and water are not available use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. You must stay at home and avoid large gatherings because it increases the chance of being infected with a virus.

Avoid close contact with people because they may have symptoms. You must avoid touching your hands to your face, eyes, and mouth because hands can transfer the virus into your body. When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth with a tissue and throw the tissue in the dustbin. If you don’t have a tissue use your elbow to cough or sneeze because in this way you can help to avoid spreading the virus to other people.CDC(Center of control disease and prevention) recommended wearing Non-Medical face masks at public places and avoid close contact, keep distance within about 6 ft which helps to reduce the spread of the virus. Every surface could be contaminated with the virus therefore if you bring anything from outside you must throw the wrappers and packages and then wash your hands for 20 seconds after handling the containers and packages.

When you go to the grocery store to buy fruits and vegetables it might be possible that fruits and vegetables have a virus if it is handled by an infected person. So when you return home you should wash your hand, all the fruits, and vegetables, and clean your bag using the disinfectant spray. Dogs and cats are also infected from the virus but according to the expert's animals can not spread the virus but it is an ongoing investigation so you should keep them away at least 6 ft. Before traveling you must consider the risk factor associated with the travel because the chance of getting an infection is increased in flights, buses, trains if the other person is infected.

When you book a room in a hotel you must disinfect all the surfaces. Don’t go to restaurants, when you order food, pay the bill online after bringing the food at home, wash or sanitize your hand. Before making a salon appointment check the safety measures of the salon for clients and their staff and ask about the disinfecting practices. If you reached before your time, wait in your car and use the touchless payment method. When you visit the bank, clean the keyboard of the ATM with disinfecting spray. When you are not confident about the safety practices of any place you should not go there because protecting your health is very important.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and symptoms are mild stay at home you should not go to any public place, follow the precaution advised by the CDC. Don’t share the room with others, use separate space to recover. Make sure that everyone in your home should adhere to the recommended precautions. When you are self-isolated at home you must have someone to take care of you and provide you all the necessary food. When your symptoms are severe such as shortness of breath you must go to the clinic or emergency department. You must stay calm and eat healthy because it affects your health. To protect yourself, follow the recommendations by experts, take a healthy diet, get proper sleep, and find a way to reduce stress.
